DECEMBER 12th
MISSION: Listen to as much Christmas music as you can today.

ANALYSIS: I had to coach, then tend bar, but I found a couple radio stations that played Christmas music. I also have a couple of my favorites on my computer that include Larry Carlton’s Little Drummer Boy and Patrick Cupples’, Giving My Christmas.

MISSION: Get a stranger to teach you something.

ANALYSIS: I met a girl on 3rd Ave. and asked her to teach me something. After thinking for a moment, she finally responded, “the elephant is the only mammal that can’t jump.”

DECEMBER 8th
MISSION: Go to Trivia Night at T.B.D. Get at least one question right. If you do not, grab the microphone and announce, “I am an idiot.”

ANALYSIS: Interesting Mission… with consequences. Luckily, I knew that Sao Paulo is the largest city in the Southern Hemisphere - giving our makeshift team the point.

DECEMBER 6th
MISSION: Take a walk down the Hudson River Greenway.

ANALYSIS: I’ve been on the west side a bunch, but never really walked down the Greenway. It is located right on the Hudson River and has a great view Jersey City and Hoboken. I took a 20 minute walk after my soccer game in Chelsea.

MISSION: Take a career test. Find out of you’re in the right job.

ANALYSIS: I went to careerpath.com and took a career test. Of the top four results, two were in education and two were in agriculture. Education I could see … agriculture is a stretch. Interesting though.

DECEMBER 1st
MISSION: Put money in a stranger’s parking meter so that they don’t get a ticket.

ANALYSIS: I parked on 9th Ave. around 6:30 PM. The meters there run until 7:00. After a short walk, I found a white Toyota that had an expired ticket in the window. I went to the meter, bought a new ticket and put it under the car’s windshield wipers.

ANALYSIS: Popular Mission. I walked down Manhattan Ave until I saw a man and his possessions in a doorway.

ANALYSIS: Pretty incredible. The video was shot at Kuroshio Sea, the world’s second largest aquarium. Not only are there countless fish, rays and whale sharks, but you can see people admiring and taking pictures of these animals.

ANALYSIS: I made my way over to Talcott Hall (Upper Quads) after visiting the brand new athletic center on Ithaca College’s campus. Unfortunately, the students are gone for the holiday, and I was unable to get inside. Great memories there.
